About

Bronwyn Varty is a South African executive producer, creative director, transformational coherent aliveness coach, village builder and fourth-generation custodian of Londolozi Game Reserve.

Raised in an African wilderness village and within a multigenerational family business, Bronwyn has spent nearly 44 years experiencing the principles of Ubuntu in everyday life — understanding firsthand what it means to belong to a community, contribute to its wellbeing and participate in something greater than oneself.

For nearly two decades, she has played a leading role in the creative reinvention and international positioning of Londolozi, combining imaginative vision with commercial discipline, financial understanding and the practical realities of building sustainable organisations.

An artist of experience, Bronwyn has a distinctive ability to recognise connections between things traditionally understood as separate and bring those connections into form. As a dyslexic thinker who experiences ideas spatially and dimensionally, she works across disciplines, connecting business, creativity, nature and human transformation.

Her work spans executive production, brand architecture, filmmaking, publishing, spatial design, wellness and the creation of transformative human experiences.

A central thread of her work is village building — the art of creating coherent environments in which individuals feel connected, communities find common purpose and people can thrive together. Drawing on a lifetime of lived experience within an African village, she brings the principles of Ubuntu into contemporary spaces, organisations and communities around the world.

Bronwyn is the founder of the Londolozi Healing House, co-founder of Track Your Life and a founding trustee of the Good Work Foundation, which advances education and opportunity in rural South Africa.

She holds a degree in Brand Architecture and Organisational Behaviour from Bond University, Australia, and is a certified Martha Beck Master Life Coach, Universal Energy Healer and pranayama breathwork practitioner. Her work draws on more than 20 years of study and apprenticeship in human transformation, yogic philosophy, ancient healing traditions and nature’s restorative intelligence.

A mother of two, Bronwyn’s life is informed by the natural world, creativity as a force for leadership, family and human connection, and an enduring curiosity about the ancient wisdom and human practices that have survived generations of change.

The four dimensions of my work

Dimensional IntelligenceHow I see — recognising connections and bringing ideas into form.
Creative & Commercial IntelligenceHow I build — combining imagination with commercial discipline and sustainable outcomes.
Coherent AlivenessHow I guide — integrating mind, body, heart and spirit.
Village BuildingHow I connect — creating the conditions for people, communities and organisations to thrive together.

My work

My work exists across multiple disciplines, connected by a central interest in the art of human experience.

As a dyslexic thinker, I experience ideas spatially, often seeing relationships and possibilities in three-dimensional spheres rather than linear sequences.

I think of this as dimensional intelligence — the ability to recognise connections between seemingly unrelated disciplines, systems and experiences, and translate them into tangible form.

My creative thinking is equally grounded in commercial experience. Growing up within a family business has given me an understanding of financial accountability, operational realities and the importance of translating imaginative vision into sustainable, measurable outcomes.

I believe creativity and commercial intelligence are complementary forces.

Creative Direction & Brand Architecture

For nearly two decades, I have worked at the intersection of business, creativity and brand development, helping shape Londolozi into an internationally recognised luxury wilderness destination.

My approach extends beyond visual identity. I am interested in creating living brands in which philosophy, storytelling, culture, physical environments and human connection work together to create a coherent experience.

I see creativity as a force for leadership and innovation, grounded in commercial viability and the practical realities of building enduring organisations.

Executive Production & Storytelling

I work across film, documentary, print publishing and multiple creative storytelling mediums, bringing ideas from concept and spirit into execution and form.

I am drawn to stories that expand the human experience — exploring nature, conservation, our shared humanity and the deeper relationships that connect us beyond technology.

My work includes executive production, original film development, book curation and translating complex ideas into compelling visual and narrative experiences.

Human Transformation & Coherent Aliveness

Alongside my creative work, I have spent more than two decades studying, practising and apprenticing in personal transformation, coaching and ancient healing traditions.

My studies of yogic philosophy and Eastern wisdom traditions have informed my understanding of the relationship between mind, body, heart and spirit.

I am particularly interested in heart-centred leadership and embodiment — recognising that meaningful transformation involves bringing the different dimensions of human experience into relationship.

I call this Coherent Aliveness: an approach to personal transformation that seeks greater alignment between the four dimensions of our being.

The mind offers discernment and understanding. The body carries instinct and lived experience. The heart informs connection, compassion and our capacity to relate. Spirit connects us to meaning and purpose.

My role is to help individuals recognise where these dimensions may be out of balance and guide them towards greater integration.

Drawing on contemporary coaching, breathwork, ancient wisdom and nature, I support people in developing a more embodied, heart-centred experience of themselves and their leadership.

Village Building & Ubuntu

I have spent almost 44 years living within an African village.

That experience has given me an understanding of Ubuntu — the ancient African philosophy that recognises our humanity as inseparable from our relationships with others.

I have experienced what it means to belong to a functioning village: the shared responsibility, interdependence, generosity, accountability and collective intelligence that allow people to flourish together.

I believe the principles of village life hold profound relevance for our contemporary world.

My work as a village builder is about translating these principles into modern contexts — bringing people together around shared purpose and creating the cultural, relational and physical conditions in which communities can thrive.

Whether working with organisations, creative communities or individuals, I am interested in the architecture of belonging: how people connect, how trust is established, how collective purpose emerges and how environments can support both individual expression and shared wellbeing.

For me, a village is not simply a physical place. It is a living system of relationships.

And village building is the art of bringing those relationships into coherence.

Spatial Design & Experiential Creation

I have a deep interest in how physical environments influence human experience.

From architecture and interiors to immersive spaces, I approach design as an opportunity to create an internal shift through an external experience.

My work considers beauty, intention, materiality, nature and human behaviour — and how these elements can be brought together to create environments that support connection, creativity and transformation.

The Londolozi Healing House is one expression of this philosophy.

Conservation, Education & Social Impact

As a fourth-generation member of the Londolozi family, conservation and community have been central to my life.

I believe in the interdependence of people, wilderness and the systems that sustain both.

As a founding trustee of the Good Work Foundation, I have supported the development of education and opportunity in rural South Africa, with a particular interest in unlocking human potential and creating pathways for future generations.

Philosophy

The Art of Experience

I am fascinated by the relationship between the world within us and the world around us.

How our thoughts, beliefs and perceptions shape our experience of life — and how the environments we create, the stories we tell and the communities we build can, in turn, shape something within us.

My work moves between these dimensions.

Sometimes that means working directly with individuals to cultivate greater coherence between mind, body, heart and spirit.

At other times, it means creating something external — a film, a book, a brand, a building, a community or an experience — designed to shift perception and deepen connection.

I see creativity as an instrument for transformation, coherence as a foundation for leadership and belonging as an essential dimension of human flourishing.

My upbringing within an African village has taught me that individual wellbeing cannot be entirely separated from collective wellbeing.

We become more fully ourselves through our relationships with others.

I am interested in bringing the enduring wisdom of ancient human practices into contemporary life — creating experiences, spaces and communities in which people can reconnect with themselves, one another and the natural world.

“I am interested in the architecture of belonging — creating the spaces, relationships and shared experiences that allow people to thrive, individually and collectively.”

A little more personally

I grew up in the African wilderness, where nature was my first and perhaps most enduring teacher.

I also grew up in a village, surrounded by the lived experience of Ubuntu — learning that belonging carries responsibility, that relationships shape who we become and that a thriving community depends on the contribution of every individual.

As a dyslexic thinker, I have always experienced ideas spatially and dimensionally. I see connections, patterns and possibilities in ways that are not necessarily linear, and this has become one of the foundations of my creative life.

I am a mother, a lifelong student of human behaviour and a creative at heart.

I remain fascinated by the extraordinary capacity of people to evolve, the intelligence of the natural world and the role creativity can play in shaping a more connected future.
